DKA History

DKA was formed in 1995 by Terry DeSutter & Mike Kerr to provide government contract consulting services with an emphasis on technical and cost proposal preparation for federal government contracts. Later they would add other services, such as GSA Schedule and 8(a) applications.

By DKA’s 15th anniversary in 2010, we had grown to a 9-member team with 175 contract wins and 100 GSA Schedule application approvals. A year later the contract wins are close to 200. Also the GSA Schedule application approvals have surpassed 200 with a 100% success rate.

Still, DKA’s founders are the same individuals who answer the phone when you call today. This continuity is at the core of our success, as is our belief in going through each step of the proposal process every time. We would not have continued to enjoy this much success by taking shortcuts.

Certainly, while we will continue to help our clients with GSA Schedule and 8(a) applications and other government contract consulting services, DKA will always be focused on what we formed to do: find great contracts to pursue and help our clients win them.
