The Texas Multiple Award Schedule (TXMAS)

The TX MAS program was established by the Texas Building & Procurement Commission to provide the best value to state and local agencies in Texas. TXMAS contracts are developed from the General Service Administration’s (GSA) Federal Supply Schedule contracts, and the prices offered to state and local Texas purchasing agencies may not be higher than those established in a contractor’s GSA Schedule.

The TXMAS program was started in 2002, and there are currently over 600 TXMAS contractors. TXMAS services/products are available to 227 state agencies and over 1,700 Cooperative Purchasing Program members. In the first quarter of Fiscal Year 2007, an average of 193 TXMAS transactions took place daily, and first quarter sales totaled $46.5 Million.

Prior to getting on the Texas Multiple Award Schedule (TXMAS), a contractor must first get on the GSA Schedule. Once a contractor has obtained their GSA Schedule contract, DKA can offer assistance with obtaining the Texas MAS contract, at a flat rate significantly lower than what it takes to get on the GSA Schedule.
